Aquired from the Mid Atlantic Air Museum,
in trade in 1991, for the P-61
43-39445 recovered from Jayapura. Displayed at the Indoesian
Air Force Museum.
Bruce Fenstermaker recalls:
"MAAM traded a Stearman in 1991 for the P-61B
43-39445. It was disassembled
and worth about $25K at the time, needing re-fabricing and the engine
was near runout."
