Wartime History
Took off from Abbotsford on a night navigation excercise, and crashed at aproximately 03:30am on Vancouer Island.

Wreckage Today
A memorial plaque and grave marker are present at the crash site.

Ron Mills adds:
"The other Liberator crash is near Bamfield [on Vancouver Island]. .I am logging near KH-108, and found out about it through my workmates. It took a lot of investigating to get any info on it. A very moving experience to visit, and soon the grave marker will be replaced."
