Unknown. Used as a drone at China Lake but survived.
Storage & Restoration
Stored at NAS Norfolk from 1965-1970, then donated to the USMC Museum in 1976. Restored at MCAS Cherry Point, NC in 1978. Restored to appear as an F6F-3, and was later repainted.
Display
Today it is on loan to the Cradle of Aviation Museum from 1983 to present. It is restoed in the markings of F6F 94263 of VMF-511.
