Aircraft History
Built by de Havilland Australia as a Mosquito FB.40.

Wartime History
During March 1945, delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Mosquito A52-70.

Mission History
Took off from Williamtown for a cross country flight to Moree, NSW, with three other Mosquitoes. The aircraft failed to return to Williamtown.

Wreckage
The wreckage of the aircraft was located in the Barrington Tops National Park in 1946.

Memorials
Both crew members are now buried at the Sandgate War Cemetery, Newcastle, NSW.
