Drome (30-Mile).
Wreckage
Partially Scrapped in the middle 1990's. This and second P-39
fuselage from Rogers were intercepted by PNG authorities
when they were shipped by road into Port Moresby to be scrapped.
Display & Export
Confiscated, they
were taken to the PNG
Museum for display, where they remained
until 2001.
Containered by '75 Squadron' at the PNG Museum and exported to Australia. Reportedly, stored at Bruno Carnovale's farm propery outside Melborne, Australia.
