Took off 66 miles from Chi
Chi Jima. Shot down by anti-aircraft fire while dive bombing over
the Harbor. Dick Woellhof was captured by the Japanese and executed.

Crew is memorialized on the tablets of the missing an Honolulu Cemetery (Punchbowl).
