Mission History
Crashed near Gona.

Wreckage
Two engines and a wing section remain near Gona, behind the beach and north of the creek. Traces of the RAAF Roundel are present on the lower surface of the wing.

This wreck is possibly the remains of DB-7 Boston A28-20 (exploded over Gona). Or, less likely, wreckage of DB-7 Boston A28-22 (exploded over Buna) both from 22 Squadron.
