Still in use today as a military airport that is part of RAAF Base Williams. Construction Originally built as a grass surfaced runway. Today Point Cook Airfield is designated a military airport with airport code: ICAO: YMPC. For administrative purposes, RAAF Base Point Cook (Point Cook Airfield) was merged with the RAAF Base Laverton (Laverton Field) into RAAF Base Williams.
