Location Woodstock Airfield is located near Woodstock in Queensland in Australia. Wartime History Starting in April 1942, Woodstock Airfield was used by the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) P-39 Airacobras from the 39th Fighter Squadron (39th FS) and later the 35th Fighter Squadron (35th FS). Also used by B-26 Marauders from the 22nd Bombardment Group (22nd BG) during July 1942 until July 1943.
