Location
El Fraile in Manila Bay. Located on the starboard side of Fort Drum.
Construction & Pre-War
Two 6" M1908MI guns in M1920 carriages, in a double level casemate.
Wartime Usage
A US Army demolition charge detonated on April 13, 1945 at 10:00am blew off a portion of the casemate, launching it high into the air. This metal slab landed on top of the fort and is still present to this day.
