Leyte Paratrooper Attack Prepairations & Take Off
Night of Dec 6/7, 1944
Japanese paratroopers during Operation Te-Go flew in Ki-49 Helens of the 95th Sentai and Ki-57 Topsys (will re check the unit of the Topsy). They took off from Angeles South Airfield and Del Carmen Airfield. Mt. Arayat is visible from any of these airfields. Thanks to Tony Feredo for additional information.
