Squadron Leader Keith Rundle
RAAF Searcher Team

Click For EnlargementRundle searched for missing aircraft in Australia and the Pacific. Although his primary mission was to search for Australian crews, his explorations led to the discovery and investigation of many American aircraft wrecks, and recovery of their crew members. Rundle was most active during 1945 - 1947 for searches in Australia and present day Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. In conjunction with these searches, he worked with Flight Lieutenant O'Shea and other RAAF members. Long afterwards, Rundle remained active in wreck investigations whenever his services were needed by the RAAF, or when a new wreck was reported.
