Lat 1° 13' 60S Long 116° 57' 0E  Located on the eastern coast of Borneo. To the southwest is the Manggar River and offshore is the Makassar Strait. To the west are Balikapan and Sepiinggang. Also known as "Manggar Aerodrome" or "Manggar Field"

Occupied by the Japanese. Liberated by the Australian Army during July 1945.
