In the foreground are the remains of Ermita District, Manila destroyed largely by the Japanese when Allied forces liberated. Building still standing reading from left to right: the Admiral's, Lopez Apartments, Miramor Apartments, Mabini Apartments, Bay View Hotel and a few residential homes. In the background is Manila Bay with aproximately 20 sunken ships.
