Location Pangasinan Province 3rd District is located on Luzon in the Philippines. Borders 4th District of Pangasinan to the north, 5th District to the east, and Tarlac Province to the south. Malasiqui Town to the south of Santa Barbara. Cabaruan Hills The Cabaruan Hills are located between Malasiqui and Villasis. After the American landing at Lingayen Gulf, the Japanese 'Omori Detachment' dug in at this location with about 1,500 troops with some medium tanks and artillery. On January 17, 1945 the U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division "Tropic Lighting", 20th Infantry Regiment attacked and a battle ensued that ended January 28, 1945 at 4:00pm.
