Avro Anson
Designed in 1934, the Anson was the first retractable undercarriage, low wing monoplane, and served in great numbers with the RAF and RAAF. Total production was around 11,000.

Service in Commonwealth
A total of 1,026 exported to Australia start-ing in 1936. Also supplied to Canada (1,528), Rhodesia (79), New Zealand (23).
