M3 Carriage Gun
This was a French design, built by the US Army. Also known as M1917A1 and M1918M1 Carriage Gun.
Carriage was a two wheeled, split trail. The gun weighed 10 tons when ready for firing.
This gun fired a 96 lbs 6.1" (155mm) projectile with either H.E., A.P., Smoke with time or percussion fuse. It had a maximum range of 20,000 yards and muzzle velocity of 2,360 f/s. The gun had a rate of fire of 4 rounds per minute, manned by a crew of 10.
