Photo ArchiveBetikama School is located to the east of Honiara, at the Betikama School there is a small museum with relics and aircraft on display. Collected decades ago, the museum has not has much upkeep in recent years, but still gets a steady stream of visitors.

Located in the outside display area.

75mm Mountain Gun Type 41 (1908)
Located in the outside display area, missing the carriage and shield. A shell is stuck inside the barrel.

Bren Gun Carrier
Located in the outside display area, with several engines and gun barrels.

Dug up from Henderson Field, displayed at the museum

Crashed December 1, 1942 pilot Captain William F. Spang displayed at the museum

Located behind the museum area, this is a circular building with indoor display area. During the ethnic tensions on Guadalcanal, many of the machine guns and weapons on display were stolen or removed.

Weapons, munitions and relics
Inside, there are collections of various munitions of different shell sizes displayed, also several machine guns, helmets, mess tins and other personal effects from American servicemen. A Japanese 'Knee Mortar' and gun carriage also are present.
