Japanese Type 99 Rifles The Type 99 collection includes every variation, series and arsenal (except 12th series Nagoya). The 99 (7.7mm) was the standard infantry rifle for the Japanese military, it slowly replaced the longer Type 38 (6.5mm) rifle.
