Air & Space Museum is owned by the Smithsonian Institution is home to many famous aircraft. It is located along the mall of Washington D.C. and has a substantial archives department above the museum. More aircraft are stored and restored at the Paul E. Garber Facility and additional display area at the new Udvar-Hazy Center.
