This lavishly illustrated book was written and illustrated by Ritta Nakanishi, a spectacular artist. In this book, he strives to bring to life wartime Japanese Army manuals, with color drawings of the weapons and tactics of the Japanese Army.

Every page of the book is a work of art in its own right. Each chapter is dedicated to the usage of the weapon, firing positions, tactics and accessories associated with it. Drawings and cutaways show everything from transport of the weapon and usage under different circumstances (under fire, etc) and different ammunition and tactics.

Chapters included:
Small Arms
Grenade launchers & curved fire infantry guns
Anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons [page example]
Light Machine Guns
Heavy Machine Gun
20mm Automatic Gun
37mm Infantry Gun
70mm Infantry Gun
37mm Anti-Tank Gun
75mm Mountain Gun
Japanese military swords

For anyone who has wished for something better than the wartime Japanese Army field manual reprinted, this book will be a treasured part of your collection. The fact that the publisher has provided both Japanese and english captioning is another bonus of this book, but is not available outside Japan.
