Ken’s Men Against The Empire Volume II covers the second half of the history of the 43rd Bombardment Group (43rd BG) "Ken's Men" in the South West Pacific Area (SWPA) duing World War II. This book is written and researched by Lawrence J. Hickey with co-authors James T. Pettus, Osamu Tagaya, Edward Rogers and Madison Jonas.

The book features hundreds of World War II photographs, maps and original artwork by aviation artist Jack Fellows.The cover depicts one of the group's most famous bombers, B-24J "The Dragon And His Tail" 44-40973 with elaborate nose art of a dragon holding a nude woman that spanned the nose and fuselage.

This book covers the group's history from November 1943 until the end of the Pacific War. The group's early history is covered in the prior book, Ken’s Men Against The Empire - The Illustrated History of the 43rd Bombardment Group During World War I - Volume I: Prewar to October 1943 The B-17 Era (2016, 2020).
