(Left to right) Max Wiecks, John Case, Hervey Carpenterter, Irving Erickson, 2nd Lt Gentry R. Plunkett, Jr., 2nd William G. Hosford, James Selzer, Jerry Quandt, 2nd Lt. Paul S. Miller, J. W. Eagan, E. B. Connell, D. C. Gibson. Later that same day, Hosford was Killed In Action (KIA) piloting P-39F Airacobra 41-7200 on a mission to intercept Japanese aircraft.
