Lat 13° 4' 0S 131° 1' 59E  Adelaide River Airfield is located at Adelaide River to the south of Darwin parallel to the Stuart Highway to the south of the Adelaide River. Also known as "Adelaide River Field". Nearby is Payne Field.

Wartime History
During 1942, used by Allied fighter aircraft as a base. By March 1944, this airfield was listed as an Emergency Landing Ground (ELG) known as "Adelaide River ELG".
