Lat 22° 58' 0" N Long 97° 45' 0" E  Lashio Airfield is located at an elevation of 2,450' above sea level two miles north of Lashio (Lasho) in Shan State in Myanmar (Burma).

Wartime History
On April 30, 1942 occupied by the Japanese and used as a military airfield. During late October 1942 Japanese aircraft from Lashio flew missions against Dinjan in India.

June 3, 1942–March 7, 1945

Still in use today as Lashio Airport with flights from Myanma Airlines. The single runway is oriented 19/01 measures 5,285' x 95'. Airport codes: ICAO: VYLS IATA: LSH.
