Toungoo Airfield is located near Toungoo in the Bago Region in Myanmar (Burma).

Construction
The Toungoo Airfield area had at least three ruwways. Tennant (Toungoo North), Toungoo Airfield (South) runway. Also, an emergency runway: Toungoo Airfield (Town).

Kalaywa (Toungoo New): Lat 19° 0' 0" N Long 96° 20' 0" E
Toungoo (South) Airfield: Lat 17° 19' 0" N Long 96° 25' 0" E
Toungoo Town Airfield: Lat 18°56'0" Long 96°25'0" E

Wartime History
The Toungoo Airfield complex was occupied by the Japanese until April 1945.

During April 1945, occupied by Allied forces. Used by American aircraft between late Apirl 1945 until the middle of May 1945.
