Djailolo Airfield was located to the west of Djailolo (Jailolo) in the central-western coast of the Halmahera Island. Also spelled "Jailolo".
Two runways were constructed at this location known as Djailolo No. 1 and Djailolo No. 2. Some referneces list one of the runways as an emergency strip. Djailolo No. 1: Lat 127°27'0" Long 1°4'0". Djailolo No. 2: Lat 127°30'0" Long 1°10'0".
Used by the Japanese as a military airfield. Attacked by American aircraft during September 1944 until January 1945 and neutralized from the air. Occupied by the Japanese until the official surrender of Japan in September 1945.
