Lat 3° 22' 6S Long 135° 29' 47E  Nabire Airfield is located at Nabire on the northern coast of New Guinea. Also known as "Nabire Drome".

Construction
Built by the Japanese as a single runway airfield.

American missions against Nabire
April 27, 1943–September 11, 1944

Today
Still in use today, known as Nabire Airport, as a small airfield with a 3,773' runway, serviced by Missionary Air Fellowship (MAF). ICAO: WABI IATA: NBX.

Duane Ruth-Heffelbower visited in 2001:
"The terminal was one building. I didn't see any wreckage."
