Location
Mubo Airfield was located at Mubo situarted between the the Bitol River to the east and the Mubo-Salamaua Trail to the west. Further to the east was Vickers Ridge and further to the west is Garrison Hill. To the north was the Woody Island in the center of the Bitol River and further to the north is Salamau. To the south is Mat Mat Hill and further to the south is Skindiwai. Today located in Morobe Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
