Narakapor Airfield was located on Narakapor Plantation to the southeast of Nadzab. Also known as "Narakapor Field" or "Narakapor Drome".
Built prewar by Joe Lorraine, who cleared a small landing ground near Narakapor Plantation for use by Junkers W34s to transport betel nut and other produce to Wau Airfield and Lae Airfield.
On August 26, 1939 Junker F.13 VH-UKW crashed at Narakapor due to an engine failure.
