Vertical view of Tadji and Tadji Airfield area on the north coast of New Guinea
Location of the American landings on April 22, 1944 by the U. S. Army 32nd Infantry Division, 163rd Infantry Regiment at Blue Beach. Annotated are coastal villages including Vokau, Pro, Pro Mission, Wopil, Nor, Rilia and Lemieng (outpost L/163) at the mouth of the Nigia River. Also Tadji Airfield including the parallel Bomber Strip and Fighter Strip. Further to the east Strip Under Construction.
