Yes, very helpful, thanks very much. Also thorugh investigating the Warbirds of India website I suspect that the aircraft may later have been transferred to the Indian Air Force. Am checking that out.

Folks, while living in Kanpur, India in 1963 my brother and I explored the wreck of Consolidated B-24J s/n 64070 located at the Kanpur (British spelling was "Cawnpore"?) Airport. The aircraft was essentially intact. We salvaged the Consolidated and USAAF number plates and a few other small items. Ha...
