I am Robert van-Es, son of a former Dutch Naval Airforce warrant officer, who flew B-25 Mitchells and PBY Catalinas in the Pacific during WWII. I'd be very grateful if anyone reading this could tell me something/aything about their (combined ops) experience with Dutch squadrons MLD 320 and 321.
I am specifically interested in the recollections of American, Australian and Nw Zealand aircrew, or references to literature discribing combined ops with the Dutch in the Pacific Theater, e.g. Ceylon, Nw. Guinea, Indonesia, Australia, Socotra, add others...

By the same token if there is something I can do in return please let me know - although I am Dutch (born S. Africa) I live in the UK, where I am an active member/contributor to the UK National Defence Association. General MacArthur Foundation (Va) and from where I maintain contacts with both the Dutch Navy History Institute and British Naval History Foundations

Thank you and kind regards

Dr. Robert van-Es,
magistrate
