Good afternoon, folks. I stumbled upon this sight while researching my grandfather's (YNC Donald T. Purling, USN Ret.) service. He was taken prisoner at Fort Hughes, Caballo Island, right after the fall of Corregidor. I have a mountain of documents, photographs, and a manuscript he wrote in the 50s or 60s in an attempt to work through what we know now as PTSD. I'm looking to connect and share information with anyone interested.
