Hi My name is Donald Duffy
My fathers name is Gordon Duffy he served with the 417th bomb group 674th squadron on an A-20 as a tail gunner the pilot was Richard Rhodes the plane was named My Joy the last numbers on the tail that I can make out are 22156 but there are numbers before that I cant make out maybe another 2. I would like to find out anything I can about my fathers service and his planes history about all I know is he was shot down once and had to ditch. He also did skip bombing against shipping and the bombing of Corrigador before it was retaken. I would someday like to visit where he fought hopefully with a team retrieving wrecked aircraft I would also like to help restore WW II aircraft I live in Connecticut and would be willing to travel
