mascot doll ????????

will i dont know much about WWII but my grandad served.we was going though his stuff and came across his uniform and several items from over in japan i have recived 2 dolls one is about 3 inches long girl with a baby under her clothes body is made up of some kind of stocks.clothes are silk with red symbols there is a wood thing dont think it came with doll but has satoko 12.1945 written on it can anyone tell me more info on this he is unable at this time to tell me more about it the other doll is 6 inches and alot different has clown like clothes it is cloth face is drawn the hat is silk we found both dolls in a flowered wooden box
