has any body ever looked for the planes used on the raid,and have even one of them been brought back home

No, some parts from the Ruptered Duck (#7 Ted Lawson Pilot ) were found several years ago, but basically they were shreds of aluminum.

i read that one of the birds made it to russia in one piece but they do not say any thing about the bird but the crew was not returned for a year.is this info correct?
