Unfortunately, I found an error on the Pacific Wrecks excellent data base:
According to the AAF Form # 14 Aircraft Accident Report:
B-25D # 41-30073 crashed on May 16, 1943.
According to the testimony of the pilot, taken on May 17, 1943:
"May 16, 1943, in B-25D 41-30073, about 1300, I took off from PDG."
Co-pilot testimony, also dated on May 17:
"We took off from PDG on May 16, 1943, at approximately 1300 for Amberley Field, Austrailia."
Engineer testimony, dated May 17, 1943:
"We left PDG on the afternoon of May 16, 1943 - the exact time not known by me."
