The sinking ship in the link posted by PF is most probably the Manko Maru. Sunk by Captain Charles W Howe of the 90th Attack Squadron, the ship was originally identified as the Haruna Maru (sister ship of Manko Maru). The US Bombing Survey map of Rabaul Habour indentifies the ship as Manko Maru.
