USS Ward

My father served aboard the USS Crosby, APD 17, one of the ships that took crew members of the USS Ward aboard after she was sunk in the battle of Ormoc Bay. None of the 34 APD's (converted four stack destroyers) we saved after the war and I wondered if anyone had ever gone down to photograph the Ward?
