Edward Brooks MIA 1/9/44

Post by tonia1716 »

I'm looking for any information on my great-great uncle, Edward E. Brooks. The only information we have is follows:
Edward Enoch Brooks, Serial number 18208602. Service Rank, SGT, Date of Loss 01/09/1944. Branch Alpha Designation: Air Corps. Date of enlistment: 10/28/42. Place of enlistment was Shreveport, LA. He is listed under the World War II MIAs. The story the family was told was he was on an aircraft with some high ranking officials at the time he went missing. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
