RAAF Casualty Database

Hi All,

As some of you may already be aware, earlier this year (on the RAAF's 91st Birthday), I launched a new website titled the "RAAF Casualty Database". This was built after discussions with members of the RAAF and other researchers earlier this year to try and 'link' sources of information such as the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, WWII Nominal Rolls and of course, Pacific Wrecks.

This site currently includes details of all RAAF fatalities from WWII (all theatres), Korea, Malaya, Thailand and Vietnam. A lot of work still needs to be done, linking each casualty to an aircraft (where known) and including service records, photos etc etc, but things are moving along with updates being made on a near daily basis.

The database can be found at www.raafdb.com

I would be very interested in hearing what others have to say about the site, so please feel free to post anything in this thread, or use the Contact Form on the site itself.

Cheers,

Daniel
