Dec. 10, 1941 after patrol around Hawaii Photo Names

Post by PADutchman »

My father as a Gunner on B-17 41-2443, Dec. 10, 1941 after patrol around Hawaii.

This B-17 went on patrol again on Easter Sunday April 5, 1941. Because it was Easter Sunday my father and a few other crew members did not go out. It crashed and everyone was killed trying to land in bad weather at Oahu.

PADUTCHMAN,
Great picture! My dad was also in Hawaii at this time. He was with the 88th recco. SQ (41-2433) that arrived while Pearl was being bombed. Dad was also a gunner. Just found this site, looks like a good one for SWPA info. Do you have any more pictures?
