I have some napkin rings that I would like to know a little bit more about.
They are silver metal and has the words Balikpapan Borneo - 1945 from WX27614
Has anyone any information about these please

It may help to know how you acquired these napkin rings.
WX27614 is the service number of Australian Army Private Allistor Victor THOMSON, who enlisted in Western Australia in 1942 and was discharged in 1946 (i.e. survived the war).
He may have been involved in the Oboe 2 operation at Balikpapan on 1 July 1945 (http://www.awm.gov.au/units/place_1913.asp).
