Carter City Tulagi Info
My Dad was stationed at the landing craft repair unit #1 on (Carter City now known as Mbolo or Bolo) Tulagi. This unit was active from 1943 thru 1946. Any inof would be greatly appreciated.

My dad was attached to the Landing Craft Repair Unit, USN SeaBee 1008 Construction Battalion Detachment who were at the Tulagi Naval District, Carter City, Solomon Islands, July 1943 - May 1945. I have many stories from my dad and his letters home. What would you like to know?
