Hello Everyone,
I found this site about a year ago after learning of a missing airman from here in Morris IL. He was a relative of my son-in-law and the family knew
little of what happened thinking he had died in the Peral Harbor attack. We sent for a MACR and found that he was lost along with four other crew and a
passenger on a gunnery training mission twenty miles at sea from Viti Levu, Fiji on March 26, 1943.The plane was a B25C #42-32302. No personel were ever found.
I am a 70 year old retiree and knew several Vets that fought in the Pacific. One had shoe boxes full of photos taken with his Brownie Box camera.
Best Regards
Bluffton
