As part of each expedition I make every attempt to photograph old bases and battlegrounds that are along our route. These photos are donated to veteran organizations so that their member and relatives can see what the area looks like today. Most of this effort has been focused on PT Boat bases and sites where they fought.

In preparation for an expedition period photographs of the area are located and I plan the photo shoot to match as closely as possible the same perspective. To date several hundred photographs have been donated to PT Boats Inc. for their museum and photo archive. On the last expedition in May-June of this year I was able to photograph the PT base at Dreger Harbor. These photographs along with those taken previously were displayed at the association's reunion in August where I provided a description of the photographs and how the area has changed over the years.

I am invited on a regular basis to give presentations and show videos of the diving expeditions to New Guinea at various venues to divers, veterans and business groups. These talks motivate others to learn more about the war in the Pacific and what part members of their families may have played.
