Lat 6° 52' 60 N Long 116° 50' E  Kudat is located on the northern tip of Borneo. Borders Kudat Harbor. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in British North Borneo. Today located in Sabah State in Malaysian Borneo (East Malaysia) in Malaysia.

Wartime History
Occupied by the Japanese. Starting in late December 1944 attacked by Allied aircraft until the end of the Pacific War.

Kudat Airfield
Japanese built airfield to the north of Kudat still in use today as Kudat Airport.
