Location
Cambodia is located in the southern portion of the Indochina peninsula in Southeast Asia. Prewar and during the Pacific War Cambodia was a French colony known as Indochina or Indo-China encompassing present day Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Today officially known as the Kingdom of Cambodia. Borders Laos to the north, Vietnam to the east and Thailand to the north and west. Borders the Gulf of Thailand to the south.
