Location
Oroluk Atoll is located at the western end of Pohnpei State in the Federated States of Micronesia. To the southeast is Pohnpei Island and to the south is Nukuoro Atoll. At the center is the Oroluk Lagoon (Oroluk Anchorage). At the northwest corner is Oroluk Island, at the west is West Pass and Afua Pass and Keltie Pass is to the north.

Wartime History
During the Pacific War, occupied by the Japanese. Oroluk Island had a lookout tower and Oroluk Lagoon was used by Japanese ships.
